Rance Reehl is, absolutely, the most outstanding realtor we have ever known! We sold our first house in Fairhope several years ago. After careful research into many other reviews, we called Rance, because his reviews were consistently excellent. At the time, we did not personally know him, though we soon found that he was a true professional. We recently retired and moved back to Fairhope. Of course, we called Rance, and he located the perfect home for us; exactly what we wanted. He is trustworthy, listens to his clients, and is extremely knowledgeable about the real estate business and the area. Even after the move, we asked Rance to suggest reputable people to remodel parts of the house, and he always took our calls and was happy to help us. We would never select another realtor after working with Rance. He is excellent, and we highly recommend him for both buying and selling your home.

Last June my wife and I decided to relocate to Fairhope from Chandler, Arizona. We did this because the desert heat was becoming unbearable for us, plus there is the looming issue of water availability; the desert doesn’t have any, and Baldwin County will never run out of water. When it was time to select a Realtor we went online. After a short study we chose Rance Reehl at Coldwell Banker Reehl Properties partly because of his superb reputation for positive, timely results, but also because he has been serving the Eastern Shore for decades. About three months prior to our intended move date we called Rance Rheel and explained our situation. It became immediately obvious to us that he was well acquainted with the Eastern Shore, and wouldn’t need a map to get around, so-to-speak. He listened to us and offered a path for us to follow to make the move simple and seamless. Six weeks before our move date we drove to Alabama and met with Rance at his impressive office building along Highway 98. My wife and I chatted with Rance in a conference room and he narrowed down our needs in no time. The following day Rance took us on a grand tour of Fairhope/Point Clear. As we drove around it seemed as though someone was offering him a nice big grin and a wave at every turn. This guy seems to know everyone in town, and in a good way, too, and that says a lot. Within a few hours we had found the perfect home. We made an offer on it which, after a short discussion, was accepted that very day. The usual pile of paperwork was intimidating, yet simple; Rance took care of all that and it went by like a summer breeze. Once we had taken occupancy, Rance kindly followed up, providing us with excellent contacts to make the house a home in a hurry with skilled and friendly painters, electricians, plumbers and what-not, for the minor changes we desired. If you’re looking for a friendly, ever-smiling, quick-with-math, honest, no-nonsense, knows-everyone-in-town Realtor with that fantastic Southern accent you have no other option: you must hire Rance Reehl. As “empty-nesters” in an effort to downsize, we had the the opportunity of both selling and buying a home under the guidance of Rance. His pleasant demeanor, kind attitude and attention to detail made the ordeal as painless and smooth as possible. A thorough knowledge of the local market was a tremendous help in both dealings. I got to know Rance by fate through the purchase of a lot for investment. Then I purchased and sold a home. Since that it snowballed into several more deals by accident. He is knowledgeable in all phases so is able to offer valuable advise and support. He immediately responds to any concerns you may have. Rance has a finger on the local pulse and has a plethora of contacts to make “things” happen. He is low key, easy to work with and not pushy. Above all he takes the needs of each client seriously, you are his main focus in each transaction. He makes even tough deals come together easily. He is great to work with.

He got us multiple competing offers and helped us select the best option. He was a total pro at closing and was able to anticipate and answer all of our questions. He knows the local market, existing inventory, and price trends very well. He is also extremely kind and readily available.
